NOTE:
Under the Ride Level details, the "Type: Road Bike" refers to the ride will be on paved roads (rather then off road trails). Although a Road Bike is suggested for Road Bike Type rides it is not required. Hybrid and mountain bikes can be used on these rides as well provided you are comfortable with the pace outline in the Posted Ride. This ride calendar is for club rides, club meetings, club event posts and shop rides only.

LONG-SLOWer-DISTANCE getting ready for John's double century without re-injury's. So the route will be similar to the Firehouse 44 but add 51 and 111, the speed and effort will be cut way back from past rides. This is not the Tuesday Firehouse 44 I have posted lately, so if the B+/A- is too slow find another ride. Hope to get a nice group for this one, download the route and come join me.

The usual hills 101 ride to the Old Field lighthouse. No bathroom. Bring a snack for our break about mile 11. Any changes will be posted by 7:30am morning of ride.
The change is that I plan to go to the Marina. 22 miles. I'm not planning a food stop but you can stop at 7-11 if you need to. Bathrooms at Wertheim and a porta potty at the Marina
Not sure yet if tihs will be an 18 mile meander or a 22 mile ride to the Marina. Depends on the wind and how I'm feeling. If I decide before Tuesday, I'll post the update. contact me with any questions.
Take in all the scenery on the North Shore from River Road to Old Field. Water stops and restrooms but no food stops, so bring snacks. We are patient if you are new to hills. Join us for pizza afer the ride. Park in the rear of the lot across from Little Vincent's. Pizzza is cash only!.
We will be leaving The Wharf and head to Blue Piont/Corey Beach for a 23 mile ride. The ride will be at a B- pace with an average speed of around 14.5 to 15 mph and road speeds that will reach 16 to 18 mph.
Changes or cancelation will be posted by 1:30pm day of ride.

Lets join Mike at the Wharf for a Taco Tuesday ride to Bayport Beach, Corey Beach and the Patchogue dock. We'll do a few more miles and a speck faster and then enjoy goodies at the Wharf in a beautiful setting on a summer afternoon.
Join us for a last minute spin. Pace 13-15, could be a little slower or a little faster, a lot will depend on the group, wind/weather. Break will be if or as needed.
Meet in the commuter parking lot south side of train station, westend corner lot A1.
