NOTE:
Under the Ride Level details, the "Type: Road Bike" refers to the ride will be on paved roads (rather then off road trails). Although a Road Bike is suggested for Road Bike Type rides it is not required. Hybrid and mountain bikes can be used on these rides as well provided you are comfortable with the pace outline in the Posted Ride. This ride calendar is for club rides, club meetings, club event posts and shop rides only.

This will be an easy C+ ride around Center Moriches, that will average 11.8 - 12.5 and will be taking our break at Nettie's. There are some very nice water views along the way. No one gets dropped and we will be observing spacing rules, etc. Since the exact route will be determined as we go along, there will not be a cue sheet.
The number of riders is limited, so if you want to ride, text me (631-523-2129) with your SBRA Member Number and Emergency Contact phone number. I will respond to your text and let you know if you have a spot on the ride. Once the ride is filled, I will change to post to indicate that.
MEETING LOCATION: straight back from Wendy's and Dunkin Donuts, on the EAST SIDE of the shopping center.
Riders should arrive at least 15 minutes before the ride start, to allow enough time for me to get everyone signed in and to "get yourself" ready
***No A ride at this location. A Rides happen at Kreb Eastport location, same day & time***
Remember the Allison Gonzalez Tag-A-Long Kreb ride of days past??THIS IS IT. This is the B+ Kreb ride to The Maples. Pace is UP TO 18.9 avg at end (which means cruising to 21mph on the flats).

bathroom mile 12, snack break mile 14. Cordwood, Long Beach, Short Beach and River Rd. Scenic, hilly. Always wait-ups after hills.
Text if you're coming --631-835-1454. If there is still rain in the forecast Thursday evening, I will probably cancel then. Any other changes or cancellation posted morning of ride by 7:30.
See you at the start! It appears that the weather will be OK , with a small chance of a spot shower.
So we went to the North Fork on Thursday, so how about a nice paceline spin to the South Fork and Westhampton Beach and the Beach Bakery? We can have a muffin comparison between the Bakery and Briermere!
We'll keep the pace under control, so we are ready for Sunday! We'll head outbound through the Moriches and Eastport. The return run will be up the Casa Basso and Old Country to Clancy/Chapman/South St and Silas Cater and Ryerson..Muffins are at about 19 miles.
