NOTE:
Under the Ride Level details, the "Type: Road Bike" refers to the ride will be on paved roads (rather then off road trails). Although a Road Bike is suggested for Road Bike Type rides it is not required. Hybrid and mountain bikes can be used on these rides as well provided you are comfortable with the pace outline in the Posted Ride. This ride calendar is for club rides, club meetings, club event posts and shop rides only.

A SPECIAL RIDE TO HELP FEED THE HUNGRY. Join us on this annual charity ride to help feed the hungry in our communities.

Unfortunately, 39% are children under 18 and nearly 48% are working poor. Let’s ALL join in this ride and help make a difference in someone’s life. We will be having a BBQ after the ride where everyone brings something to share. We will have BBQ's set up to grill hamburgers and hot dogs. We are doing a spin out to Manorville taking a very short break so we can get back for the BBQ.

This ride will average in the 13's, cruising speeds of 14, 15 and 16 mph.
We've tweaked the route and added 2 more mileson the run to Wading River. More miles means more smiles! :)
This is the annual SBRA fundraiser for the Harry Chaplin Long Island Cares food bank. On this B/B+ ride we'll be doing a controlled paceline , heading to the bagel shop in Wading River.

The course for this ride will take us up Gerard Road and through Yaphank, to River and Norwood Roads to North Street and Wading River. After the stop at around 19 miles, we'll head down to the old Grumman property, and eventually down William Floyd Parkway to Victory Avenue and the finish.
This will be a C+ ride, which will average 12.2 - 12.8. My route is not set, and the distance could be 21-23 - wherever we go, there will be food and bathrooms are available.
This is the club's FUND RAISER RIDE for LONG ISLAND CARES. If you want to come on this ride you must register on the website where the link to sign up is available.
