Doing ES on the w/e makes for less commuter traffic. I plan on doing the Advance trail ... BUT if an Intermediate rider shows we'll determine the route by condition of the trail up to the trail split on the west side of the fire road. If we do the Intermediate trail than we'll add Hell Hill to keep the more advanced riders honest.

Due to the forecast precipation this ride venue has been changed to Brookhaven State Park. We'll head north from parking lot upto Rt 25A and then circle around going south upto Rt 25 where we'll take a vote! With 1-2" of snow we'll have a blast! Time for the Rock Garden (again ;-) + I plan to do most of the other BDs including the Wild Turkey berm + the new section of #6. Depending on the group maybe we'll take a peek at More Wild Turkey though I expect to do the go-around.
Overton has a number of diamonds that are do-able by Intermediate riders ... Got 6 Minutes, BD #1, #2 and #5. There are waitups and the BD's always loop back to the Blue main.

Time for the Rock Garden again + I plan to do most of the other BDs including the Wild Turkey berm + the new section of #6. I'm planning to skip BD5 in hopes there's energy left while we're on the Wild Turkey berm and maybe we'll try the More Wild Turkey drop off!
Overton has a number of diamonds that are do-able by Intermediate riders ... Got 6 Minutes, BD #1, #2 and #5. There are waitups and the BD's always loop back to the Blue main.
Let's hope the trail is quiet (no metal crushing or fertilizer grinding ;-).
No need to arrive 20 minutes early and get sweated up in the car just PLEASE be ready to ride at the Start Time ... the rest of us get chilly waiting.

Something new for this year! Starting a little later because the trail is only 9 miles and some folks may have to take the LIE and Exit at 58. Refer to this map for the following info: https://climbonline.org/2014j/pdf/maps/HP-G8-Full-v26.pdf .
We park at the Trail Head of the big "P" lot and do the Yellow trail as a warmup ... it's flat! We'll do the Blue and Pink (Floyd) within the park ... a number of STEEP and short hills ... we'll head back over the first Blue section again but do the Black dashed trail and then head to the G8 South loop (not too interesting as it's on the powerline). When we return we'll head to the finish on the Orange Palooza.
