The ride is relatively flat with a two mile optional down/up hill loop in Shoreham at the 3/4 point of the ride that some may want to wait out. Here’s the link: https://ridewithgps.com/routes/33536006. Take a look at the ride elevation profile.
The ride will be following the SBRA COVID-19 Guidelines. I would like to limit the group to five or six riders. I really would like to have any riders give me company ;-) but regardless, this ride will follow the technique of "Riding Alone, Together" ... meaning we'll have 20' between riders as often as possible. PLEASE text me with your rider information (Name, Member #, Emergency #, Cell #). I will try to minimize calling out road hazards and be pointing to them instead … also with such a small group I will ask the warning of “car back” be only shouted out by the last rider and not repeated up the line. IF I don't receive any text messages I may vary the start time a bit.
You must have a mask on your person to do this ride ... I've been able to wear the multi-layer mask at ready as lowered around my neck while riding and would suggest you do the same.
The McDonald's at Wading River Road @16 & 20 miles is open and has one bathroom available. We'll be stopping for a scheduled break at the 20 mile point of the ride.
Check back later for more info and on the day of the ride before leaving the house. The ride start may be delayed due to forecast low possibility of rain.

Off to Nettie's for some baked treats, consumed in a lovely outdoor setting. To join this ride, text Bill Gravitz, 631-356-3036, with your SBRA, emergency and cell numbers, date of ride, and your full name. By return text, I will let you know if there is room for you on the ride. Mask is required, as is your reading of the Covid rules following this message. No texts after 10:00pm.
The ride is relatively flat with a two mile optional down/up hill loop in Shoreham at the 3/4 point of the ride that some may want to wait out. The link to the route is below my text.
PLEASE text or email (address below route link) me with your rider information (Name, Member #, Emergency #, Cell #).
We'll be stopping for a scheduled break at the 20 mile point of the ride.
Join me for thei ride to Nettie's again. This will be a C+ ride, which will average 12 - 12.6 (I promise, Christine). We have done this rute a couple of times, and there are some very nice water views along the way. No one gets dropped and we will be observing spacing rules, etc.
Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the ride start, to allow enough time for me to get everyone signed in and to "get yourself" ready.
NOTE #1: You must be a club member to go on club rides.
NOTE #2: riders at this time are limited. You MUST text me with your name & SBRA Member Number if you want to ride. I will return the text: YES, you have a spot…or…NO, Ride Filled...CELL #: 631-523-2129
