    Have You Ridden on the C&O Canal Towpath Recently?

    I'll be doing a trip to the DC area (have to miss BBB ;-( and I'm considering "circumnavigating" the Potomac for a century. Plan to ride north-west to Leesburg, cross at White's Ferry and then down to DC metro area before riding the W&OD up to Fairfax. Not sure if the C&O Towpath is passable on my road bike or will I have to ride on River Road.
