Here are three photo albums of riding that SBRA members did off LI in 2015 ...

The story with each of these are:

Alley's PA Perimeter Ride against cancer: SBRA can be proud that Alison prevailed on this challenge provided by the American Cancer Society; she raised over $2000 for the batttle against cancer and in six days rode over 500 miles and climbed almost 30,000. Alison's riding is an inspiration to many!

Tom's ride in Costa Rica: Tom Farre took an adventure to Costs Rica during the late winter of 2015. His ride with Saddle Skedaddle crossed the country on a 13-day trip from Cahuita, on the Caribbean coast, over the mountains to Playa Samara on the Pacific. The 400-mile ride had days of climbing over 5000 feet, including the 12-mile Mountain of Death. Along the way there were beaches, volcanoes and rain forests, as well as fireworks on the beach on New Years Eve. A great end to a year of riding.

Elyse & Marty 's London to Karkow trip: Elyse and Marty Buchman had an adventure of riding, unsupported, from London, UK to Karakow, Poland. They rode a total of 2,000+ miles in just over 5 weeks. The reported mileage is approximate because their one unfortunate incident occurred when their trip computer was stolen.  Elyse and Marty had 2-3 day stop over’s in all the major cities they rode through. This adventurous couple averaged about 65-75 miles/day. Their last 2 weeks of riding entailed riding through the hottest heat wave Europe ever suffered. To make their scheduled plans they rode daily, for two weeks, when it wss 90-100 degress. Their enjoyment of this (and prior cycling adventers) has led them to their newest venture of opening a Cycling Bed and Breakfast, in Stony Brook, this coming June. Check it out at http://thestonybrookside.com . I'm sure SBRA cyclists would appreciate their type of hospitality on trip away from LI.

If you have pictures from a trip you did in 2015 and would like them included in this album, please contact nsamuels'at'optonline.net. If you do any trips in 2016 don't hesitate to get in touch with me.
