Long Island Tour de Cure Marshalls Needed

    When: Saturday, June 12th
Where: Indian Island County Park, Riverhead
Distance: From 5 to 100 mile rides

Ride Marshalls are needed to help support the American Diabetes Association Long Island Tour de Cure fundraising ride. Marshalls will receive FREE registration, an event t-shirt, and be eligible to enjoy the day’s activities as part of the Long Island Tour de Cure. Marshalls ARE NOT required to fund-raise.

    Marshall responsibilities include:
    • Be kind to other riders
    • Stop for other riders even if they seem as though they need no help
    • Perform basic bike repairs, ie. Fix Flats, adjust gears & brakes, etc.
    • Know how a helmet should be worn
    • Basic First aid, band-aid, etc.
    • Have a Cell Phone with them
    • Just be good riders who care about safety

If you’re interested, please contact Eric Bertrand-Loesch at with your contact details, ride level (pace/experience), and any other pertinent info.
