    subsidized rides

I see that subsidized rides will now be "allowed", but only after BBB. If the decision has been made top subsidize special event rides, why the restriction of "after BBB"? Please don't say because of budget restrictions, when the club has more funds than ever. typically, these rides are not attended by a huge number of riders and do not involve significant funding. But subsidizing these events go a long way to having a happy membership.

Also, I hope the new "rules" for subsidized rides are not too restrictive for such a simplistic concept. "Being open to all members"should not be a problem -- I think that most if not all special event rides have always been open to all club members. Unfortunately, sometimes the type of event or the terrain might logically exclude certain ride levels. That should not result in these rides not being subsidized.

Perhaps someone can present these points at our next meeting -- I am unable to attend the meetings.
