You old timers may recognize the last name of the author. Her father
certainly did alot for cycling in this country prior to the Armstrong era.
My own thoughts are that Bicycling the magazine did not do enough to
OUT the riders that were ushering in the new drug culture into pro cycling.
Bill Strickland a writer for Bicycling had access to Armstrong but never
wrote the tough article that needed to be written. Just my 2 cts but read
the article if not for anything else but for a different perspective.
