Dora & Nora are "Thinking Out Loud", Out of the Box & in Versos! Heading to the lighthouse first. Breathe deep we're off & touring Montauk with all it's nooks and crannies. Let's explore the Springs & Northwest Harbor (Cedar Point County Park) & Beyond. So what if we lose our way! Wanting to make this ride more about enjoying the ride and beauty of our Island than miles and speed, seeing views we haven't seen. Planning to ride approximately 55 miles give or take. Again, this ride is about enjoying the east end please be flexible if you join us. We are for sure spending the weekend. Plenty of reasonable hotels if you bunk up (4 in a room-more or less) on the beach if you're interested in booking. Call me for suggestions if needed. Just wanted to ENJOY the East End and relax after the ride! Taking rest stops as we need. Please be self sufficent and bring $ for Ferry and food & drinks. My cell if you have any questions (631)922-0631 Keep checking in for details and any changes.
It's off to Manorville. The average pace for the ride will be between 14.3 to 15.0 mph +/- depending on the roads, wind direction, rider ability or other conditions. Naturally, the road speed will be higher (15 -16.5 mph.) to produce the average. A rest/ food stop at McDonald’s or the bagel shop is on the schedule around mile 15. There are a few places along the route where leg stretches can be done for those who wish to do so. There is no obligation for anyone to do this; you can hang back with me. If it's a nice day we might add an extra mile or two.
Please check the ride calendar for any weather, or last minute cancellations which will be posted no later than 7:30am, if necessary. My cell number is 631.484.3490; call or text me anytime if you have questions about the ride.
Easy C ride will be adjusted to the slowest rider rest stop at Briermere Farms. Might add a few extra miles will depend on group? Questions call or text my cell 631-484-1650.
