NOTE:
Under the Ride Level details, the "Type: Road Bike" refers to the ride will be on paved roads (rather then off road trails). Although a Road Bike is suggested for Road Bike Type rides it is not required. Hybrid and mountain bikes can be used on these rides as well provided you are comfortable with the pace outline in the Posted Ride. This ride calendar is for club rides, club meetings, club event posts and shop rides only.

So far the winds look good for a ride to Dune Road, East Quogue and East Moriches. This will be an easy B/B+ Paceline Ride with the average speed of about 16.5 mph. Faster riders can do their own speed on Dune Road. A break will be at the Beach Bakery or East Moriches depending on the direction we take at the start of the ride. to be determined by the wind direction.

Join in to increase mileage on this gentle C+ ride from the Yaphank Firehouse to Netties. Bring adequate fluids and a snack since our official break won't be until mile 31 at Netties Country Bakery. We can make a bathroom stop at Southaven County Park if needed. Have a mask available. Text me with your SBRA ID#, cell phone and emergency phone # prior to the ride. Rain will cancel. Check the ride calendar Friday morning for any changes, which will be posted by 7 AM. Call me if you have any questions.
Join me for this ride from Yaphank to Nettie's, where there are bathrooms available, as well as tasty delights! The route will be determined the moring of the ride, so no cue sheets.
This C+/B- ride will average 13.2 - 14.0, depending on the winds, the riders, etc.
