NOTE:
Under the Ride Level details, the "Type: Road Bike" refers to the ride will be on paved roads (rather then off road trails). Although a Road Bike is suggested for Road Bike Type rides it is not required. Hybrid and mountain bikes can be used on these rides as well provided you are comfortable with the pace outline in the Posted Ride. This ride calendar is for club rides, club meetings, club event posts and shop rides only.

Leaving Oakdale RR we will head to Corey Beach for a 24 mile ride. There will a break around mile 14.

This ride will be at a Winter B- pace that will average 14.5 mph.  Road speed may reach 17 to 18 mph.

This C+ ride of 18-25 miles will average 11.5-12.5mph. Bring snack/hydration as route depends on wind, tide, position of moon and ride leaders disposition. Newbies welcome and well taken care of and nobody gets left behind. Any cancellation will be by 8:30am. No need to text, email, phone, send message by carrier pidgeon or smoke signal me. Just show up 15-20 minutes before ride start to get your s**t together.

The weather gods are playing april fool jokes on us!

Out to Poquot first with that great ride round the harbor.  Then a shortened version of the roller coaster ride.

A C+/B-due to the twists and turns plus the elevation.  The idea is to train the legs to do more hills.  There will be wait ups as needed.  Break at the lighthouse.

Bathrooms at the beginning of the ride and at the beach.

Gonna try to get Monday Afternoons a try for StonyBrook Hills. The warm up will be StonyBrook College loop. This will allow for anyone that can't start till 4pm to join ride. We will park at the Train station by old Getty. SB loop is about 3 miles we will then meet at Carl Hart (old Campus Bike Shop) to sign in anyone that shows up after warm up loop. We will stop at the light house Briefly and move on to the Hills. May eliminate Meadow Beach.  Cordwood will have a brief wait up.
