NOTE:
Under the Ride Level details, the "Type: Road Bike" refers to the ride will be on paved roads (rather then off road trails). Although a Road Bike is suggested for Road Bike Type rides it is not required. Hybrid and mountain bikes can be used on these rides as well provided you are comfortable with the pace outline in the Posted Ride. This ride calendar is for club rides, club meetings, club event posts and shop rides only.

Meet at the lot across from the Maples for a paceline spin out to Riverhead. Let's enjoy the Spring in February!
We'll head out through the farms to Doctor's Path, before we head south and have a quick stop at the bagel shop in Riverhead. Then it's up along Route 24 to River Road and Old River Road and back to the start.
This wil be a no surge, civil ride; let's save the legs for Saturday's rides! So, if you want to try a paceline ride, here's your chance.
Come join me at the Bellport Municipal Parking Lot.We will meander thru the South Shore on our way to Flo’s Luncheonette. It is a C+/B- ride, averaging 13-14 MPH. The cruising speeds will be 14-16 to get the average.
I will wait-up whenever someone falls behind. No one will be dropped. If you want to join me please text me on my cell, 631-655-7801. I will let you know if you are in, or the ride is full. Please provide your name, SBRA, cell, and emergency numbers. Any changes to the ride will be posted by 8:00. The ride will be limited to 12 riders unless there is another ride leader joining me who wishes to split the ride. Once accepted onto the ride if you need to cancel for any reason please text me as early as possible.
Due to a stiff Westerly breeze, the ride is changed to between 20-25 miles, with the route changed to minimizing Western travel as much as possible. Off to Nettie's for great baked goods, or soup & roll. Nettie's has outdoor tables, indoor restrooms, as well as an indoor room with a fireplce. To join this ride, text Bill G. at 631-356-3036, with your full name and date of ride. Check the ride calendar for changes, which would be posted by 8:00am day of ride.
Join me for this morning ride from SAYVILLE to ?? This will be an easy C ride to loosen up the legs, and will average 11.0 - 11.5.
The exact route will be determined at the start, but we probably will head over to Oakdale and take our break at the bagel shop there. However, since nothing is certain until we start, there will not be a cue sheet for this ride.

My Bad Calf and Likp call for Cancellation...Friday afternoon Pizza Earing Prep Ride. 23 miles from ecology site. Free Parking till March. Will meet in Parking lot.
