NOTE:
Under the Ride Level details, the "Type: Road Bike" refers to the ride will be on paved roads (rather then off road trails). Although a Road Bike is suggested for Road Bike Type rides it is not required. Hybrid and mountain bikes can be used on these rides as well provided you are comfortable with the pace outline in the Posted Ride. This ride calendar is for club rides, club meetings, club event posts and shop rides only.

A scenic ride to the Patchogue shore continuing on to a stop at Mother's Beach on our way to the Bellport Docks. There will be a deli stop at approxiamately mile 15 where you can purchase a snack or you can bring your own. This will be a slow paced flat ride good for those just getting into group riding. No one gets dropped.
This will be an easy C+ ride around Center Moriches, that will average 11.8 - 12.6, and will be taking our break at Nettie's. There are some very nice water views along the way. No one gets dropped and we will be observing spacing rules, etc. Since the exact route will be determined as we go along, there will not be a cue sheet.
The number of riders is limited, so if you want to ride you must text me (631-523-2129) with your SBRA Member Number and Emergency Contact phone number. I will respond to your text and let you know if you have a spot on the ride. Once the ride is filled, I will change to post to indicate that.
Riders should arrive at least 15 minutes before the ride start, to allow enough time for me to get everyone signed in and to "get yourself" ready.
Based on the forecast,we are moving the ride to 9:00 on Friday morning. Unfortunately, the forecast for Monday morning is too problematic.
Come wish me happy birthday (well a belated birthday, now that we changed the day) on this scenic, mostly flat and beautiful ride that heads out from the Speonk to Quogue and the surrounding areas. Please note that we will meet in the parking lot on the east side of Phillips Avenue.
We will not be making a stop to buy lunch during the ride, but there will be a number of stops along the way, so please bring food you may want or need as well as sufficient hydration. Most importantly bring an upbeat inquisitive attitude ready to explore and discover.
To join the ride or if you have questions, please text Bill Mastro at 917-921-5358. I usually send a final ridewithgps file out to those that text me. Any updates or weather issues will be posted to the ride listing by 7:00 on the day of the ride.
We will be leaving the bank heading to Babylon. There will be a quick coffee break at the Docks. This is a B- ride that will average around 14.5 - 15 mph with road speeds that will reach 16 to 19 mph.
If you have any questions call or text Mike at 516 448-8545.
