Although a Road Bike is suggested for Road Bike Type rides it is not required. Hybrid and mountain bikes can be used on these rides as well provided you are comfortable with the pace outline in the Posted Ride. This ride calendar is for club rides, club meetings, club event posts and shop rides only.

***No A ride at this location. A Rides happen at Kreb Eastport location, same day & time***
Remember the Allison Gonzalez Tag-A-Long ride of days past??THIS IS IT. This is the B+ Kreb ride to The Maples. Pace is UP TO 18.9 avg at end (which means cruising to 21mph on the flats).
No sprints on Victory or anywhere else; group stays together.
NO SWEEP ON THIS RIDE!!! Wait-ups within reason. If this is your first B+ ride, bring a friend along & please also download the route to your GPS device.
Park in municipal lot then cruise over to bike shop at 10 Bell St to sign in, use restroom if needed & start ride. Any questions, please text me.
Please park in the northeast portion of the parking lot.
Lots of people around now so be careful on Dune Road.....and everywhere. Many people walking and running so lets give them some room. Lots of people on the ride too so lets keep each other safe. Pay close attention to the road surface and those around you.
Try and keep it single file and close to the white line when no runners/walkers are about.
Lisa V is running the awesome B+ ride out of the Bellport shop.........check it out here.
We've gotten a restock on our Kreb Cycle kits from last year and some new kits might be here by Friday too.
Of course all the people with brains worth protecting know we have the most protective helmet in the now famous Virgina Tech Bicycle helmet study(https://www.helmet.beam.vt.edu/bicycle-helmet-ratings.html)...The Giro Aires Spehrical. Personally tested............ and what little brains I have were protected!!!!
Thanks again to all who patronize the shop..........., we know you have lots of options ...., with out you none of this happens.
This will be an easy C+ ride around Center Moriches, that will average 12.1- 12.7 and will be taking our break at Nettie's. There are some very nice water views along the way. No one gets dropped and we will be observing spacing rules, etc. Since the exact route will be determined as we go along, there will not be a cue sheet.
The number of riders is limited, so if you want to ride, text me (631-523-2129) with your SBRA Member Number and Emergency Contact phone number. I will respond to your text and let you know if you have a spot on the ride. Once the ride is filled, I will change to post to indicate that.
MEETING LOCATION: straight back from Wendy's and Dunkin Donuts, on the EAST SIDE of the shopping center.
Riders should arrive at least 15 minutes before the ride start, to allow enough time for me to get everyone signed in and to "get yourself" ready
Didn't get to do my hills Tuesday, so trying today.
Please text if you plan to join. My cell is 631-835-1454.
