NOTE:
Under the Ride Level details, the "Type: Road Bike" refers to the ride will be on paved roads (rather then off road trails). Although a Road Bike is suggested for Road Bike Type rides it is not required. Hybrid and mountain bikes can be used on these rides as well provided you are comfortable with the pace outline in the Posted Ride. This ride calendar is for club rides, club meetings, club event posts and shop rides only.

Our usual ride to Manorville.. pace is a B+ range of 17-18 average speed at the end of the ride and crusing speeds of 18-20. If you have been on my rides in the past month that is our usual pace and we have been coming in at so all stays the same except the classification!
This C+ ride of 18-25 miles will average 12-13mph. Bring snack/hydration as route depends on wind, tide, position of moon and ride leaders disposition. Newbies welcome and well taken care of and nobody gets left behind. Any cancellation will be by 8:00am. No need to text, email, phone, send message by carrier pidgeon or smoke signal me. Just show up 15-20 minutes before ride start to get your s**t together.
Park at the school across from the start of the trail . we'll go to the end and back. This is my first time on the whole trail so help me explore it. If you have any questions please call my phone.
Meet in the rear of the lot across from Little Vincent's. Join us for arguably one of Long Island's best slices after the ride (cash only). We'll head to the south shore, touring Oakdale, Idle Hour and Heckshire State Park. No food stop so bring snacks to enjoy at the beach/restroom/water stop about mid ride.
