Hybrid and mountain bikes can be used on these rides as well provided you are comfortable with the pace outline in the Posted Ride. This ride calendar is for club rides, club meetings, club event posts and shop rides only.

Gonna post a few B+ rides for now since Lee has been off the Bike. This will be a solid B+ pace with Maximum speed of 21/22mph on straights. No one gets DROPPED. Start getting those legs ready for the season. We will have a rest at the Exxon/7-11 in Manorville.
Please kindly text me by Friday so I can fill out Ride Sheet prior to Ride.
Weather is going to be warm so let's get out and ride bikes!
I'm posting this as an A- ride. Which means we will come in the 19's average. If you are going to ride with me please respect the posted pace. There will be a few spots for everyone to empty their legs if they wish.
According to the current weather forecast (as of Tues evening), it looks like a perfect day for a one-way ride to Montauk (SW wind @ 15mph with a high temp of 71). Very scenic route. Looking to catch the 3:45pm train from Montauk so we should have plenty of time to toy around town at the end (lunch, Montauk Brew, sightseeing, option to do some add'l miles and hills out to the lighthouse, etc).
Bring sufficient hydration and food for ride and $$ for train. Please note - bike permit is no longer required by LIRR.
Call or txt if you're interested (347-922-3824). Changes posted by 7am day of ride.
Finding roads we haven't been on for a while. There are faster rides and longer rides but my legs and back are still trying to get there. One quick stop by the Yaphank Firehouse. Please check out the route below.
This is my second ride since November so will be starting off going nice annd easy at a lovw B/B+ range. Crusing speed will be arond 16.5-17 and looking to come in between 16 and 16.4 avg speed. If we need to go slower we will. Just looking to get the muscles engaged to get riding again. Please check the morning of the ride for any changes.
This is the 3rd and final ride in the Beginner Ride Series. This is a slow paced ride that anyone can do, exploring some backroads along the way to a bagel lunch stop in Medford Middle Island. For new riders, we will review the basics of riding in traffic and and with a group. No one is left behind and there is nothing to worry about as our team has been working with new riders for years.
Note that Railroad Avenue is under construction and you will need to enter the parking lot from Mill Road or Caroll Ave from Union Ave.
Off to Quogue Preserve, riding on mostly local roads, as well as Dune Road. Water views along the way. Rest stops coming and going. Bring snacks and drinks. We will stop at a pocket park in Westhampton Beach on our return, with a bakery a minute away. To join the ride, text Bill G. at 631-356-3236 with your full name. Check the ride calendar the day of the ride for changes, which would be posted by 09:00am. At the time of this posting, the forecast is showing a chance of rain early Saturday morning, so its important to check the ride posting for a possible delay or cancelation.
