Rich Dellasso
Economic Opportunity Council of Suffolk, Inc.
The Economic Opportunity Council of Suffolk County, a non-profit located in Patchogue. They run a program called Supportive Services for Veteran Families (SSVF), a federally funded grant, via the Veterans Administration, which helps to house veterans who are homeless or on the verge of homelessness. They requested our help with their efforts to find homeless people, especially now that the cold weather is coming. Not long after the information about this important need in our community was posted on our website there has been a great success story achieved by an SBRA Member. Click here to read the story.
 

John Garrett
Missionary Service in Ethiopia
SBRA Member Cathy Cavaliere's son-in-law John Garrett lives in Ethiopia and does missionary work.
In particular he works to get bicycles donated, which can be life changing to most of the 50 million people who live there. 
Garrett is in the United States for a short time and will be speaking at our January General Meeting.
