This ride has been delayed until Thursday due the weather ... check back on Wednesday evening and BEFORE leaving for the ride as the venue AND time may change depending on the weather. I'm considering riding from the Calverton Memorial Park.

Also, no need to be at the start time 20 minutes early ... you'll either overheat in the car or chill outside ... please just be ready to ride at the post start time!

We'll do the Intermediate trail and spend some riding time on the fire roads to appreciate the Full Moon. We'll minimize doing the Black Diamonds by skipping Mogul 2, THE Wall, Hell Hill and some of the northern hills of Wild Laurel. BJ's Way and Moguls 1 & 3 will be in play depending on who shows.

If you're an intermediate Mtn Biker you can do this ride if properly equipped ... two lights >= 600 lumens ... one for the helmet and one for the handle bar. No tail light required ;-) ... two good lights will cost < $180.

Traffic at this time is heavy along Nesconset Hwy ... if you're in route but held up by traffic call my cell.
