Meet up in the parking lot across the street from the Yaphank Fire Deptment.  We'll bike to Wertheim Wildlife Refuge where we will take a hike (3 miles) through the preserve which is beautifully scenic and peaceful.  Then bike back to Yaphank.  If you can't walk in your bike shoes, bring something that you can.  Also to consider bringing:  snack or lunch to eat at Wertheim, hat, sunscreen, bike lock, binoculars.  I'll bring bug spray to share.  The trails are wide and well maintained so no need to worry about ticks or poison ivy.  Rain cancels, call my cell if you have any questions.
