    A line of showers and Thunderstorm forcast cancels this ride

    A ride by the watersides of St. James, Stony Brook and Old Field. Plenty of waterviews. We stay on back roads, most with little traffic. There is quite a lot of up and down on this ride. The hills after Harbor Road are mostly easy going up. We will stop at West Meadow Beach at mile 11 for a quick rest stop. No one left behind and wait-ups where there are hills. Bring a snack for the rest stop.  This ride is a B- effort although our average will be quite a bit less than on a Flat B- ride.
