Let's ride from the Picnic out to Mattituck on Peconic Bay Boulevard and then cut up to the West Side of Mattituck inlet.  The Park there gives a nice view of the inlet and the sound.  Pretty water views and you get to see Peconic Bay and Long Island Sound.  Multiple opportunities for rest stops.  Bring a snack for when we stop at the Mattituck inlet park.  We'll stay as a group, no one gets dropped.  There are two hills out by the inlet, the rest of the route is flat.
