Grand Tour of the North Fork, from Manorville out to Orient. Route is mostly flat, with a climb at the Northville tanks on the way out, and some rollers on Soundview Avenue. 

Pace will be on the lower end of B/B+, will keep cruising speed around 17-18 tops, shooting for an overall 16.0 average speed.  The group will stay together, and everyone will take turns with the pulls. I’ll pull on the downhills.

Please bring plenty of water and snacks. Quick stops at Iron Pier and Matituck Breakwater beaches, lunch will be in Greenport at the 45 mile mark. We’ll also stop at the Horton Point Lighthouse on the way back.

We can all have a drink in The Maples after the ride, with all the other bikers. 

Directions to The Maples: LIE exit 70, head north on CR 111 about 1/4 mile to Ryerson, right turn on Ryerson, park across the street from The Maples on the east side of Ryerson.
