    We will be starting a bit later to steal a few extra degrees.

    Let's head out to Netties where we can enjoy their great pastries and coffee. There are multiple places inside and out. If we're lucky  we should see the nice people on Susan's ride leaving from Veterans Park there.

    Most of the routes out of Southaven to Netties go up and down the inlets on the South Shore, that are beautiful in the Summer but are freezing and windy in cold weather. We will stay north of Montauk Hwy the entire ride.

    We can cut a few miles off on the way back.
