NOTE:
Under the Ride Level details, the "Type: Road Bike" refers to the ride will be on paved roads (rather then off road trails). Although a Road Bike is suggested for Road Bike Type rides it is not required. Hybrid and mountain bikes can be used on these rides as well provided you are comfortable with the pace outline in the Posted Ride. This ride calendar is for club rides, club meetings, club event posts and shop rides only.

We will be leaving Bank of America and head to Great River and East Islip for a 25 mile ride.  The ride will be at a B- pace with an average speed of around 14.5 to 15 mph and road speeds that will reach 16 to 18 mph.

Meet at The Maples for an easier B Level ride to Westhampton Beach and The Beach Bakery.  Think of this as a civil active recovery ride, where no one gets dropped!  We may do a little paceline work,  but we'll keep it controlled!

We'll ride through Eastport and Remsenberg, with a few rises (we'll keep everyone together).  Then it's along the waterfront to Westhampton Beach, with a stop at around 16 miles.  

After the break, we'll head back up the Casa Basso and Old Country Road, leading us to the finish in Manorville.

I have some errands after the ride, so I'll be taking it easy today!
