NOTE:
Under the Ride Level details, the "Type: Road Bike" refers to the ride will be on paved roads (rather then off road trails). Although a Road Bike is suggested for Road Bike Type rides it is not required. Hybrid and mountain bikes can be used on these rides as well provided you are comfortable with the pace outline in the Posted Ride. This ride calendar is for club rides, club meetings, club event posts and shop rides only.

We will be leaving Bank of America and head to Great River and East Islip for a 26 mile ride.  The ride will be at a B- pace with an average speed of around 14.5 to 15 mph and road speeds that will reach 16 to 18 mph.  Our food/rest stop will be around mile 20 at the Bagel/Deli.

Changes or cancelation will be posted by 7:30am.

Last weeks ride is this week! Meet at the GR trailhead for a nice cruise on the mainloop to the Overton connector. We may hit White Ghost on the way back.

We roll at 10a.

Keep tabs on this posting as I have been selected for Jury Duty Monday and "IF" I have to report I'll postpone again or move the ride. I'll know by Friday evening..NO JURY DUTY FOR ME!!!! LETS RIDE!

Shake off the cold snap when we head back to the beach.  We won't swim and there are no restrooms open on the route, so plan ahead (Cumberland Farms across from the start is available).  This is an excellent ride to get into hill shape because half the ride is flat and we will adjust our speed on the hills as needed so no one is left behind.  Park in the rear of the lot across from Little Vincents and join us for a great silce after the ride (cash only).
