NOTE:
Under the Ride Level details, the "Type: Road Bike" refers to the ride will be on paved roads (rather then off road trails). Although a Road Bike is suggested for Road Bike Type rides it is not required. Hybrid and mountain bikes can be used on these rides as well provided you are comfortable with the pace outline in the Posted Ride. This ride calendar is for club rides, club meetings, club event posts and shop rides only.

First Charlie Bird, steady smooth ride with wait ups and one catering stop. This group leaves about 5 minutes after the Early Birds take off(A group) scheduled for 8AM. The sun will have risen.

Also, You should have a DEC parking permit to park in lot on RT25 (next to motel); permit can be acquired via internet (check our website for link) or park 1 mile east in baseball field parking lot.

The Ride STart maybe changed to BSP ... CHECK BACK Saturday evening AND BEFORE leaving for the ride.

NOTE: The Start Time is a bit earlier than usual! The sun will have risen more than 1 1/2 earlier and time to get earlier starts w/riding Wink.

This venue is being chosen because it drains well and the forecast has rain from early Friday into Saturday. CHECK back to this posting as another venue may be used based on how much rain we get.

We'll do the whole thing at Calverton and maybe repeat Roller Coaster from the backend as we head out.

This trail is good if you're an Intermediate Rider.

Steady A pace planned. We start with a warm-up enroute to the tanks then it's off to Paradise Point and return to Jamesport. Anyone eating at MRB after the ride might consider a change of clothes. There is no scheduled stops so bring hydration and whatever you need.  Route (posted below) should be conducive to windy conditions. We ride for Biscuits!
