Under the Ride Level details, the "Type: Road Bike" refers to the ride will be on paved roads (rather then off road trails). Although a Road Bike is suggested for Road Bike Type rides it is not required. Hybrid and mountain bikes can be used on these rides as well provided you are comfortable with the pace outline in the Posted Ride. This ride calendar is for club rides, club meetings, club event posts and shop rides only.

Please RSVP to 6319870310 if you are coming. I would like at least 4 to 5 riders to come on ride. I am too old and it is too cold for me to pull for 15 miles. If I don't get my minimum, I will cancel ride and read my Sunday paper and drink coffee. Hopefully if we ride we will end up in Babylon.
Join me on my first ride lead Manorville Hill Mountain Bike. Wheels roll at 9am sharp. Please arrive 15 minutes early and text me if your attending. I will sign you in and all you have to do is sign your name.
Any Changes or Cancellation will be done 1 hour Before.
This week the Thunderbirds will leave the South Street School to head out to Riverhead on a mostly lightly rolling route. We'll start by heading through the fields out to a quick stop at the bagel shop or Riverhead McDonalds. The return will then take us up along the rollers on Route 24.
Pace will be a little slower, for anyone who wants to learn how to fly. Learning to Fly: https://youtu.be/r6NtAwAMv1s
Join me for this C+ ride, which will average 12.0 - 12.4; no one gets dropped and we will be observing spacing rules, etc. Ride route will be determined by the road conditions; decision to be made the morning of the ride; no cue sheets. We will head to Blue Point and loop around Corey Beach, and our break will be at the Atlantic Ave. Deli; there will be a bathroom stop.
Please text me with your name, SBRA Member Number, and Emergency Contact phone number if you plan to ride.
