It looks like Friday gives us a break from the winds and ultra-cold, so let's ride!  (Saturday looks like a fair chance of snow showers).

This will be a paceline ride to Westhampton Beach, where we'll have a snack / rest stop at 19.2 miles.  Expect to ride at a pace that will keep us together, and where we wait-up after any hills for those who get dropped!

The outbound loop will include a new 3 mile warmup section, before we hit some rolling terrain.  So we'll add-in North Street and South Street at the start. We'll then head through Moriches and Remsenberg, hitting Tanners Neck Lane before the run into Westhampton Beach.

The return after Westhampton Beach features the Casa Basso and Old Country Road, eventually taking us back to Manorville.

After all these very cold and very windy days, the forecast for Friday is merely cold and somewhat windy. So layer up and come join us for the shorter winter version of this ride, around a 32 or so mile ride with a stop for some of Nettie's wonderful treats or hot soup. We are starting at 10:15 in order to get a little more warmth into the day.  Please bring hydration and most importantly an upbeat inquisitive attitude ready to explore.
