I just returned from a short car trip through Pennsylvania down to Charlottesville Va and back. We stayed in a very nice B&B just outside Carlisle/Boiling Springs, Pennsylvania. The farm was a stop on the underground railroad on an old dairy farm currently a horse farm. The hosts were as nice as can be and couldn't do enough for us and the room and breakfast were five star. While chatting with the hosts we found we had something in common - cycling!!! Robin is an avid cyclist and does tours and supported tours from place to place where he carries the bags for you or you can return to his home base each night. If anyone is thinking about a nice place to ride with top first class accommodations and gracious hosts, you might wish to consider this place: Pheasant Field Bed and Breakfast, Carlisle, Pa. Innkeepers, Kit and Robin Stauffer. www.pheasantfield.com
