It is my hope to train and be able to ride the Metric Century on June 11th. It will be an out and back starting from Calverton Memorial Park. Since we have plenty of time, I am starting with a 20 mile ride on April 2nd and will likely go up 5 miles each week unless a week is missed due to weather. Anyone can come on the rides I post even if you don't plan on doing the Metric. I will be posting the rides at a C pace for awhile and we can increase the pace as we get stronger. For me, it's not about the speed but the ability to go further each week. On the day of the actual Metric you can ride with me or go faster if you wish.
