Classic 44 with waitups. I'm keeping an eye on the weather; this ride may be canceled, stay tuned. Unfortunately the weather is finikey and the weatherman isn't always right , so although we don't always get it right we try hard.

Going to Manorville today. A rest/ food stop at McDonald’s or the bagel shop is on the schedule between mile 16 and 20. There are a few places along the route for a break-a-way for those who wish to do so. Pulling is always appreciated for those who want to help, but not required.
The average pace for the ride will be between 14.8 to 14.9 mph +/- depending on the roads, wind direction, rider ability, tailwinds, downhill's, break-a-ways and other conditions. All of these conditions could change the final average one way or the other. Naturally, the road speed will be higher (14.5 to 17.0 mph.) to produce the average. We might add a mile or two depending on the route and the current conditions the day of the ride.
Any cancellation due to weather or any other circumstance will be posted no later than 0730 if necessary. If you have question about the ride just text me at 631.484.3490. Eventually my phone and I will meet in a reasonable amount of time...
This is a paceline ride through Manorville. I am looking to do 17mph. Please check for cancellation by 7am if it looks like rain. We will have a break at MacDonalds.
Please please text me By 1pm Wednesday if you plan to ride. I hate to Cancel rides or show up and Nobody shows. I get it, It's hard to commit for an afternoon ride and I will ride with one other person. Im really trying to build a group that can ride. I also posted as an A-/B+ dropping pace to accommodate more riders. Nobody gets dropped and will allow for a few break always. We could add a few miles before Maples to drive miles up closer to 40 miles.
This will be a B- ride. Expect an average between 14.9 and 15.0 Depending on many conditions this ride could come it a tad higher. In order to get this average the road speeds will be between 15.0 and 17.0 mph. Going downhill, or with the wind at your back will be faster. The main objective is to finish the ride without being too concerned about the average. The average will depend mainly on the wind, the hills, and who shows up. We will stay together and there will be one or two break-a-ways for those who want. We will take a break at the Beach and a rest stop at Wertheim about mile 10. Pulls would be appreciated.
After the ride Eduardo has invited us in for some GOOD Stuff.
If you have any questions, or concerns please text me at 631.484.3490. Should there be a cancelation, or change it will be posted by 7:15am.
Today's Mi Tierrita ride will be going to the Beach. The route is mostly flat with a small incline here and there. The average pace for the ride will be between 15 to 16.0 mph, depending on the roads and wind direction. The road speed will be between 17.0 and 18.0 mph. The usual break-a-ways will happen for those who desire. We'll stop along the way for a bathroom break around mile 10. Don’t forget to bring a snack. Do you know what AGUAPANELA is? Come and find out. Pulls are appreciated.
Here's hoping that we have some people to join us on this ride from Southaven County Park to Manorville! Along the way we'll ride up River Road and Norwood Drive to get us to the newly resurfaced Dayton Avenue! Then, eventually we'll reach Grumman Avenue and Connecticut Avenue to get us to the rest stop.
After a stop at the refurbished McDonalds or the Bagel Palace, it's a return via South and North Streets and a ride through the neighborhoods. Then it's the final kick down William Floyd Parkway and Victory Avenue back to the Park.
